McGill’s PSSA is actively engaged in academic affairs within the political science department. Ever year a variety of research presentations, discussions and debates are run by our organization In addition to the traditional research brunch and wine and cheeses, this year we’re looking to coordinate town halls to discuss hot topics about campus affairs and world issues. On top of these social engagements, the PSSA publishes the MJPS (The McGill Journal of Political Studies) and coordinates awards for best course and professor in political science. Events Portfolio
The political science students association runs a variety of events and trips for McGill political science students each year. Members of this subcommittee will help to coordinate and run these events in conjunction with our VP Events, Roland Barlier. We run joint socials with other departmental associations, excursions to Ottawa and Quebec City, and much much more! Photography Portfolio
The PSSA is looking for 4-5 photographers (amateur or professional - whatever works!) to document the several events we will be hosting throughout the school year. We would still love to hear from you!
Publicity Portfolio
Given the wide range of events that McGill’s PSSA runs each year, getting the word out is essential! We’re looking for individuals with graphic design experience who can create posters, ads and tickets, along with dedicated students willing to help with general advertising and marketing.
